A few people have asked the same question but really, Cherry Berry (despite having a few lines in the show and operating the balloon and a helicopter) has few fans if the image count is an indicator so I have no idea what to say regarding the fandom’s characterization of her. There are 1,136 images of her on the site at the time I post this, whereas Berry Punch has 4,133. She could use more characterization in the fandom, really. There was a blog of her by crabmeatstick a while back but it’s not updated anymore.
So…. Are these 2 considered Sisters in the fandom?
I’ve not payed much attention to them, and this scene at first made me think of them as being friends/roomates or something. But seeing that they have the same manestyles as well, now I’m thinking of them as Sisters. Like the Spa Twins~

They actually are making wine, too, despite the official story that it’s grape juice. Grape juice naturally turns into wine without any assistance. (You can assist it in turning into better wine, but left on its own it will become wine.) It has to be consumed immediately, or be sterilized to prevent it from turning into wine, and there’s no indication that the ponies do that. While fresh grape juice goes back as long as grapes, bottled grape juice was only invented in 1869 and branded as Dr. Welch’s Unfermented Wine. The ponies clearly bottle theirs. They’ve never been shown pasteurizing it.
Same with cider, though the Apples have been shown serving it (and generally running out) the same day it’s pressed, before it would have fermented.

It’s still cute, though, I just mean it’s not reliant on some fantastical quality.
