it just occurred to me that if he’s too pregnant to move, and needs a certain somepony to gather food for him, then she could always feed him with more of her eggs, while he nurtures her brood.
@Free Current
What makes her one of my favorites is how she’s only “weird” when she goes cross-species. Like, her species are like seahorses where the male gets pregnant, so it’s normal within her own kind. She just has a fetish for landdwellers XD
Enjoying the image slightly.
Waiting around a bit looking at the more recent comments but not actually reading them.
Goes up to hit arrow when Anon’s belly starts kicking.
Holy fuck this is an animation.
@Brony_Conundrum
Right time right place kind of thing on the beach. Their body actually produces eggs one by one during sex, so a pregnancy is guaranteed. That means that not only do the males look for land-dwelling partners to have a cheap fling to avoid it, but the females often have a harder time than you’d expect finding a mate when they’re in the mood :D
I’m sticking to what I feel is plausible science in a world where magic is literally an integral part of nature, and where plants can shrink, grow, or mutate you, etc. I actually do have legit explanations for how these things are able to work, which are at least legit enough within the show’s setting I think XD
-Impacted/stretched colon?
Hormones from the eggs affect the fluids of the cells of the surrounding brood pouch, making it stretchy enough to expand and carry the eggs. Said hormones will affect any cells, including those of a non-seapony father.
-Blockage/hindrance of the digestive track?
-Accidental expulsion of the eggs?
The eggs are injected in with a thick gel-like fluid that fills the “gaps” between them. This stops them from being pushed out early (daddy is stuck with them until they hatch) and also over time breaks down and releases nutrients which are absorbed. Daddy’s metabolism drops making him sluggish and sleepy, but he won’t have to worry about eating at all until they come out. It’s only, at most, an 18 day “pregnancy”.
Is it unrealistic and totally contrived? Yep. But you want pregnant seapony cuddles, right?
@Badumsquish
I guess I’m sticking to hardcore science in my statement. It does take the fun out of mpreg though since most of it involves eggs up the rear. Thing is, magic is that “get out of jail free card” for this in a way since you can always get around any biological issue with just magic.
Impacted/stretched colon? Nope. Magic.
Blockage/hindrance of the digestive track? Nope. Magic.
Accidental expulsion of the eggs? Nope. Magic.
In the end, it means you can have your cake and eat it too.
@Nittany Discord
They’ve adapted biologically to put as little strain on the body as possible. If they damaged him, how would he be expected to carry multiple broods?
The long and short of it is the eggs affect the fluids in the body cells of the male’s brood pouch, making them stretchy enough to carry the entire load of eggs. Said hormones have the same effect on cells of any kind, not just those of a male seapony.
@Strawberryjuice
They also do take chromosomes from the male parent. Because of them needing to be so tolerant of what they can absorb, since it’s such a inefficient and incomplete means of “fertilization”, a non-seapony father will suffice all the same. Expect generic messy hair seaponies XD
@NudistHorse
There’s no need for a womb or a vagina. She’s laying eggs, kind of like a chicken, only through an ovipositor and inside him. The eggs just need a safe warm place until they hatch.
sure beats eating seaweed.
More or less XD
So are dudes on the beach porn for her?

I’ll probably try eventually but I definitely want some more practice animating simpler things first :P
I believe in you
At the very least some non-gif art
I doubt I could do a decent animation of it though :P
I would love it if you could give us an animation of the “birthing”

and now I’m sad I don’t live near a beach
Works for me.
I’m not going to question it too much if I can get my cuddles. <3

Yeppers :D

Seems legit.

Nah. According to this (warning: explicit!), seapony eggs are soft enough to settle in your GI tract without any issues.

So much colon damage.

Nah they’ll just stay in him forever.
Anal birth…holy shit… 0-0
Out the butt. Where else?
And where will they come out?
