Hasn’t the show used both “flight camp” and “flight school” to refer to the backstory of same group of young ponies (RD, Flutters, Gilda and the bullies)?
Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash having gone to flight school together has been show-canon since “The Cutie Mark Chronicles”. That they’d go to a school reunion together would be no surprise, even if it wasn’t mentioned in the comics.
