Enthusiasm is relative, I have never lost my original excitement over the ponies I carry since 2011… although I no longer participate any live streams any more… so I guess you have somewhat of a point.
To be fair, its not just ponies. Most of the phenomenon like Adventure Time also reduced into obscurity.
I used to be very enthusiastic on Derpy. Nowadays I just play along with it, especially since mid 2015. I suppose that most of fandom reacts the same according to my own observation.
