Actually these kind of theater was more commonplace in the older hospitals and medical facilities. It was a primary or a way for young doctors and nurses to learn new surgical techniques or insight into certain medical advancements. Nowadays they’re not in use nearly as much anymore because the learning process it’s changed but they were part of medical history. But there is no denying there’s a certain creepiness factor to them
