Considering the new page this is probably just Padlock going nuts trying to “hold things together” as well as she thinks the scripture claims; she’s a devout follower but doesn’t know what she’s saying here. The strain on a person believing in a religious lie or misconception is enormous.

Her face man look at it, it practically screams villain. Which is funny considering the next page shows they are just assuming things, which makes the face in the 5th not make much sense other than to be a red herring and throw the reader off.

Why is everyone here assuming the priestess did anything but recite an old prayer, let alone was planning of taking control over Anon? She didn’t give him those magical mind controlling bracers. Celestia did. Nor would I assume she has any experience with using said bracers on humans by using ancient rituals, on of Anon being the first in Equestria in centuries if not millennia. And lastly, since the priestess knew neither nothing of Anon or the princess’s intent to go her congregation, let alone her willingness to drop the “purge the heretics and xeno’s” subject when celestia told her to, asking instead for protection, I seriously doubt she’s intending to launch a war with anon as a weapon.
oh, actually I think her intentions might be more than just “not malicious”…
it was the choosing stone that was plotting to ruin the sacrifice celestia’s parents made, and take celestia’s heart. who would you call the “cult of stone” besides the worship of the choosing stone? if she sends anon out to destroy “the cult of stone” then… padlock might be completely in the right, and about to save all their asses from destruction, until the heroes ruin everything by stopping her. if she succeeds, then the choosing stone might be fucked.
Well… Maybe so if she has no idea of what she’s doing. Maybe she’s just being manipulated without realizing it, I’ve met someone who was saying (in effect and in all caps, posted in a PSA video about a funeral of a husband and father on Youtube) “she’s husbandless so let’s pray for this widow to rot in hell” which is nearly a direct word for word quote. I tried correcting her, I really attempted to correct her and other people in the whole comments section did the same then she blocked me and said “god hates liars like you, ur weak im strong” even after I directly quoted scripture saying she shouldn’t pray for people to burn in hell. Her comments have since disappeared from my Y.T. page so maybe she’s been suspended. I’m not sure whether to laugh or what to think.
The night afterwards I dreamed I was in a basement with a girl who may have been her; a young teenager or preteen who then got her hands sprayed with battery acid. I moved her to the sink to clean it off immediately but she literally dissolved before I knew what was happening. The funny thing is the word “Vitriol” which means “sulfuric acid” or “bitter or harsh criticism” can describe the words that were coming out of her by the hands she used to type with to perfection! It’s no coincidence in my mind, I think my dreams give far better detail to important things than I may have realized.
