After reviewing this image, we have decided that it is decently pony related to be allowed on the site. Please refrain from continued reports on this image.
I guess with the new source it does have more sense now, but I’m not a mod anyway to see if it’s correct or not, that’s why I’m waiting to someone come. But at least now it’s indicated its relation to MLP characters, even if it’s very fictional. That was my initial complain, there was no source and it looked just like a random lion character.
It’s not like that I didn’t saw the description, but if I want I can post a random drawing of a giraffe and say that it’s from an OC land close to Equestria, and there justify it.

I will/have! If I submitted a fanfic anywhere, would it be permitted? Where would I have to submit the fix? If I added the “Text” tag, would it be permitted, pointing to the description that I have made for it?
The style isn’t completely different, I think that you exxagerate… In fact, I asked it to be made similar to a picture of Lion King characters drawn in the MLP style. I know that it has a bit more perspective added to the picture, but I don’t think that would disqualify it, would it?

The thing that I think is wrong here is that the style is completely different from MLP, we even haven’t seen any lions in the series to justify the image, and there’s no other source available like a fan-fiction for example.
But I agree that is a pretty cute picture, it’s very well done. I guess I will summon a mod to revise this situation.

Oh, no, it’s not from Lion Guard, by the way. I never watched the show, this character was conceived of in 2013. Should I provide a source to my F-list profile for my source? The original page it was posted on was Furaffinity, on the discretion of the artist I commisioned.

The basic premise is that stuff ed has to be MLP related and this pic (gorgeous as it is) is very barely related since it’s a character from a fanon city in a fanon world with seemingly no link to MLP proper. Stuff non pony related isn’t allowed on derpibooru so that’s what people are getting at.
