As for the quadwings, they weren’t inspired by Crobat either. It’s something my friend, the artist who drew this, suggested as a unique characteristic. I went along with it and now the secondary pair of wings represent the potency of her royal blood.
As a fellow owner of a dragon in the MLP universe, she’s wonderful. I have to ask though: were the colors and quad wings inspired by the Pokemon crobat?
