Well. I’d be fine possibly working on a differentiation between a pornographic tag and a SFW one. And there’s more people who voice in on those matters than just s. So I’d say go ahead and make a thread about it.

Except not really. Rape is different in that it requires context in order to be rape instead of just regular sex. We have to know if there’s been consent or not. You can have literally the same exact image be either sex or rape depending on the context. If consent or lack therof is not specified with the image, the it can be up for debate if it’s rape or not, and indeed such arguments have occurred on images more than once.
Vore does not have any such contextual qualifier. If one creature is going inside of another creature, then it’s vore. There no different ways to interpret it.

It will most likely be met with ridicule and people talking down to me, as artist intent before tagging extreme fetishes seems to be an unpopular opinion. Then I’d respond in kind with hostility and it’d turn into this huge mess of s descending on the thread. Don’t really feel like that today heh.
Before you say to just filter it, I don’t have a problem with vore, I’ve drawn it twice now, it’s a matter of people doing inevitable drive-by disliking or automatically filtering it because of extreme fetish tags like unbirthing and vore
Alright, if you really want to be that pendantic about it, then let me rephrase myself: if living creature is going into or being pulled into another living creature, then it is Vore.
If you wanna go make a thread on the tagging discussion forum about seperating out the Vore tag into sexual and non-sexual tags, then feel free to do so. but we have to have some tag to indicate that flutters has a critter in her cooter and the most appropriate tag we currently have for that is the unbirth tag, which is a type of Vore.
If anything, we can ask the artist: “Hey, is this picture with fetishy sexual intent showing vore or not”
If he says that the intent was indeed for those purpose, then that’s where that issue ends
I got a pic I made of a pony being attacked by giant Kong worms, and people insisted that was vore. Same arguement here: “shes about to get eaten so its vore”.
People are going to filter these pictures because of extreme fetishes like vore and unbirthing due to faulty logic and to appeal to the taggers own fantasies.

Those tags should be reserved for sexual intent. For example, not every picture of a pony being eaten by a monster is vore.

the tag is simply describing what is happening in the image: one character is going inside of another in some way.

I’ve seen tamer picks on this sight that have had the vore and underthing tags and they showed no more then this, so I will continue to add them until directed not to by a sight .
