According to the tumblr: First he needed a new chair due to back issues keeping him from drawing for long periods of time. Then his SSD crashed.
The comic stuff was backed up on another drive, so none of it was lost, he’s just been having delays~
I’d been wondering myself. Both of those suck, but I’m glad it was nothing more serious like major, major health issues or something.

repetitive motion syndrome is a serious issue among many prolific artists, especially back pain and carpal tunnel syndrome. proper posture and regular exercise are essential to any serious artist.
Between Pencils and TJ suddenly having back issues I have to wonder if it’s a common thing among people who draw a lot or if it’s just the methods they employed. No disrespect intended, it’s just the question “Is this really the most effective way of making art?” (Not like I’m an expert or anything.)
