You know, I’ve never been able to see Nightmare Moon’s mane as an actual mane. It’s so ethereal that it looks like she’s just bald and wearing a helmet. At least with Daybreaker the fire mane still resembles a mane.

I find it quite the opposite, the helmet kind of hides that her aether mane makes her look bald. it’s more apparent without it.
