Well, she didn’t used her teleportation to get down the stairs in the palace or on top of the tower to the crystal heart. My Headcanon is, that to teleport somewhere, you have to visualize the place where you want to go. Which is impossible when you’ve never been there. (Also, giving her to much power would make her kind of a Mary Sue solving all problems with her magic.)

She wasn’t confident enough to teleport frequently in Season 1. Now, she can teleport quickly and comfortably with very little effort.
