There is so much artistic talent in this fandom, especially from artists that started over the past couple years, that simply slips under people’s radars. It’s a shame.

The biggest reason this picture doesn’t have as much recognition is because it’s an OC. This picture could be ten times as popular if it was Luna instead of some random alicorn OC.
I guess it would help too if it was a cookie-cutter porn or cute picture, but it wouldn’t be as big of a factor IMO.
Extremely talented artist showing real visual improvement, yet an underdog on Derpibooru. While talentless pandering hacks pump out drawings daily sit on top. Such a shame. SMH
