@Beau Skunky
That’s pretty much what I was talking about was history repeating itself which shows that don’t deserve it getting not just movies but proper theatrical releases I mean shows like teacher’s pet got a movie.
But I do think that the dragon’s Lair movie would have more chance of bring more 2D animated films if it ends up being about popular with young audiences and not just the people who play the arcade game
@MuttonBash
Seems like almost every new CGI movie becomes one of the “highest grossing animated movies of all time!” Even some of the honestly mediocre ones, as you said.
With that in mind, seems studios will never give 2D a chance. (Especially, ‘cause 3D/CGI is now cheaper.)
With luck maybe the TTG movie will be straight to TV/Video, otherwise it’ll further kill 2D animation.
@Beau Skunky
Dispicable me 3 is the 5th animated movie to gross over 1 billion dollars and is on its way to beating zootopia, dispite the movie being onlu decent. Based on that i guarentee ttg will KILL at the box office.
@northern haste
I wouldn’t mind a few, as long as they don’t go overboard. Though, I can’t think of any modern cartoons that would translate well to the big screen.
A “Teen Titans Go” movie is in the works, which has many online raging. Despite the hate it gets, it’s actually very popular with kids.
@Beau Skunky
I think this movie would have more chance of sparking interest in the movies based on TV shows like this.
I hope history doesn’t repeat itself when after the Rugrats Movie was released
I really missed Don Bluth, so I hope his movie gets finished, and does well.

The animation is actually quite impressive. I hope this movie sparks interest in 2D animation again.
