This is what I can read from his paperwork. It gets muddled the further it goes.
“On the border of the Crystal Empire about 30 miles north of the Crystal City, I saw my first true encounter with Yakyakistan officials … on the true reason for their… they feel they can assert… and fulfill…”

I think that Greg’s role is to enable Twilight to expirience “boy-girl” social interactions in an established relationship. Before, she was trying to get to get into such, but was failing hard or was too embarased about it. It’s comedical, but how far can you go with such script? So we add Greg to the mix.
You may not like him, but without Greg there would be 50 (or so) less pages of Adorkable Friends.
I love everything about adorkabletwilight, except greg. Really no big reason, I just don’t like him and feel like he is just slightly out of place in the established universe.

It’s a theme in the “Adorkable” series where all the OCs have human names.
It’s because his name is Greg. Should have named like… Green Grass or Pocket Protector or maybe Number Cruncher.
