Is it worth pointing out they have reasons for reviewing it like they did and we should refute the specific points rather than just call the review bad?
@Jarkes @Claw
I rarely pay IGN the time of day unless there’s something specific I’m looking for or if I stumble upon any discussion that just so happens to mention IGN and there involvement. Just like right now, I just so happen to find this post and it’s about IGN.
@SuperDEF
Indeed they are “popular” for their gaming stuff but I am still amazed that you never heard about their none-gaming related stuff for this whole time.
I might seem like an idiot for typing this, but I thought IGN is a site for reviewing gaming content, because every time I come across a topic about IGN it always revolves around games.
@StarVagrant
And children could handle it all. Nowadays we shelter children and keep them in sanitized, unrealistic, saccharine environments. Then we are surprised they struggle with adulthood.
@northern haste
Yeah, Skyward Sword is by no means a perfect game, but I wouldn’t consider it as awful, as some fans think it is. I personally think it has some of the best boss battles in the franchise (except for the Imprisoned).
@Background Pony #8F8C
Or how about Clayton (from Tarzan) getting his neck hung by vines? Or Maleficent stabbed in the heart by the Prince Phillip’s sword before falling off a cliff to her death? Or Sykes (from Oliver and Company) being crushed by a speeding train, after his two Dobermans fall and die from electrocution by the subway trail?
Bad HOW? A review is only objectively bad as it is objectively wrong. What is wrong with it other than us disagreeing?
But its bad tho. And it takes less words to say that.
Apparently, their writer’s think they’re serious.
“Too much water!”
Wait, we supposed to take them seriously? I through its a joke website like Buzzfeed or Onion.

They’ve been more of a general entertainment site since at least 2006.

I really like Skyward Sword but I wouldn’t give it a 10
10/10 Skyward Sword IGN
Dude. The reviewer sucks. IGN sucks. IGN is at fault, all of it, including the reviewer. Too much water.
