Yeah, I don’t get the people who say she was shoehorned in when I thought the show had the opposite problem. The S5 finale made it seem like she was gonna be a 7th Mane 6, and the S6 opener made it seem like the season was gonna be about her reformation, but she was only in a handful of episodes the remainder of the show when I expected and hoped it’d be much more, and she was kept on the periphery of the Mane 6; she mostly just associated with Twilight with only 2 episodes with the group and 1 with another Mane 6, and they much to my annoyance REPEATEDLY had her stay behind while they all did stuff. So taking all this into , I don’t understand the people going “NO! THAT’S TOO MUCH!”
Abandoned as a filly
She was found by Twilight!
Who lived in the middle of Ponyville!
With her assistant, Spike the Dragon!
But creepy stuff live near Ponyville…
It’s up to Starlight! To save her new home!
I really like this comment, if only I could give you a gold star for it.
Talk about beating a dead horse, OP. Though I do like that font.

At this point, I’d argue that Starlight Glimmer is as much a main character as anyone we’ve had since Twilight appeared in every episode of season one. It’s still a far cry from “The Starlight Glimmer Show”, though.

Yeah, I don’t get it. We had a mane 6 episode with her in it. Then one without her. Then a spike ep with her and twi in ing roles. then a Starlight episode. Then an ep without her in it. Then an episode where she’s useless. Then 3 episodes without her in it.
Really, OP? Considering she’s only had a handful of episodes centered on he this season, I think we’re past making “The Starlight Glimmer Show” jokes. Just because she appears in an episode doesn’t mean she’s hogging the screen.
Either there’s some stubborn folks out there or else trolls think they can reignite the mostly-dead war. The problem with this fandom is both are a distinct possibility, and it’s easier to write the whole thing off as utterly stupid.

I might actually try to make a comic based on that if I can ever get a filly Starlight model for sfm

I honestly doubt that.

Stupidity likely plays a role in it either way.
