The game fetches a price list from the Gameloft server every time you open the shop, but also has a built-in list if the server is unreachable. There’s a program someone created called PonyLiberator which runs a minimal DNS and HTTP server, allowing you to substitute the price list with an edited one. The file it comes with has all the prices for everything set to “0 coins”, but there are other versions that just put fairer prices on the gem and heart items.
