Thin strips of fabric is sexier because more skin is exposed and therefore closer to nudity than wider swathes of fabrics . Which is likely why the ‘granny style breifs’ aren’t being worn by most young females of today . Because if we don’t feel inadequate about our appearance than the demand for the d product would be lower than it would be using the current style of advertising . Hence why someone in sexy lingerie is going to have a higher product demand than that same person modelling the ‘frumpy’ Victorian Era clothing styles . It’s essentially softcore porn appealing to our lusts and fetishes and as such in a higher demand than ‘out dated conservative fashions’ or hobbyist modeling .
