@Beau Skunky
Just a reply to the topic overall, not you specifically (I actually agree with you for all of this). I meant to reply to that earlier before it got featured since somebody else pointed out the similarities of the pillars to BoW. I just suck at people-ing.
@Background Pony #67A8
First negative comment on one of my pictures ever, and it’s actually something I’d love to hear more! If you (or anybody else) sees something I can do better, please tell me! Criticism is absolutely essential for improvement.
Doubly so on this picture since I’m going to be selling this at WhinnyCity in a few months heh
As for pop culture references, there aren’t any. Neither LoZ nor HP. At least not intentionally. Medieval fantasy is pretty damn inbred, so who knows lol
@mjangelvortex
I a few MST3k references in the comics, the Blues Brothers ponies, and even ponified Mario Brothers-like plumber ponies.
Bonus points, the “Mario” pony had curly hair like Captain Lou Albano, a wrestler famous for portraying Mario in live-action, and animation for the 1989 “Super Mario Super Show.” (Coincidently, DHX now owns that show, and all of DiC’s shows. Except Real Ghostbusters.)
@mjangelvortex
There’s surprisingly alot of characters from pop-culture that appear “Ponified” in the show. I think the show staff likes ponifying stuff as much as the fanbase does.
But w o w this is really good
It’s ok, no worries. :)

I was talking about the show referencing Zelda, I didn’t say this image was.

They do. The comics has a bunch of them too (including a Keldeo cameo).

your current filter.There was also the Snape pony in another episode.
Yes!

your current filter.The show even parodied HP.
Kinda makes sense, as both have similar fantasy worlds, and have alot of mythological beasts/monsters too.
How so?
This never happened before. Now, it’s happened twice in a few months…
Yes it was, but if I had to guess, it wasn’t featured for full 3 days.
