GX was my “gateway” arc of Yugioh. I loved the fusion . Particularly Cyber Dragons. What I love about it is that it showed how Dueling is fun and games, but sometimes factors come into play that make the game not-fun. People have raged to my friend that they would rip his cards just for winning. Fandoms can be agressive. And the show depicts agression of players who want victory no matter the damage (Zane), and players who love the thrill of winning and accept losing as natural (Jaden). Not to mention the fact that GX takes places initially in a school dedicated to learning in becoming professional duelists as the card game, and any game/sport, will come with the weirdest of situations that you study to overcome if you run into such situations.
That is a lot. I geeked out. I seldom geek out. Childhood anime. Cyber Dragons then, and forever!

Trixie uses an Exodia draw deck with a high chance on 1-turn victory. Nobody plays with her anymore.
Trixie is too cynical even when she’s no villain, so Chaz is a nice fit.
Somethings they gotta learn, hit or miss.
I don’t think that class ever taught them this.
Duel Academy is very accepting of duelists.
Will they find trouble, never working too hard?
GX was a breath of fresh air after all the doom and gloom, soul stealing, end of the world stuff of Duel Monsters.
