This is part of the reason I simply disable internet access to my game. I turn it on from time to time to check for an update, then right back off again so I can play it without these moneygrabbing popups and junk.
Also, if my rough mental math is holding up, then this would normally be worth $100 for some reason… Dafuq Gameloft? Literally all recent characters they add are a minimum of 350 gems or around $15+. It’s getting stupid.

Yeah, the prices are ridiculous. I just bought “Balloon Fight” for my 3DS for only $2.50 (with MyNintendo discount) so honestly paying $30 for digital content is a rip-off.
Still, it’s kinda nice to see the comic characters get some love regardless what some say. (Seriously, guys, while I don’t love every issue either, the butthurt over the comics is getting old. Besides, they’ve been getting less controversial lately.)

Plz don’t start those “lol not kanon” arguments here. As stated the comics are an official extended/alternative canon, so if some fans wish to think of them as canon with the show, or not, they can. (Unless, the show contradicts it.) It doesn’t matter.

The first thing that came into my mine was corporate big wig Discord.
It’s what happens when Discord is evil, but is more of the Spirit of Order. He defeated the Mane 6 and the Princesses, only to revert to Discord after Starlight convinced him to.

I’m not too familiar with the comics either but the comics does have a “Bizarro Universe” so to speak where characters act like the opposite they do in the main show. For example, there’s a good Chrysalis and Sombra in that universe. So maybe Accord is from there too?
Or alternatively, it could have been a plot for something else.
Has a window though. It shows how trapped you can become in an office job.

That’s basically how I feel about this. I don’t mind them using stuff from the comics but the prices are just horrible.
I don’t really see the problem with taking ideas from the comics.
