One can only hope the Hearing Protection Act will the house and convince Tammy and the rest of the gang to consider repealing that ban. I just emailed our representatives about it. There’s no good reason for suppressors to be illegal in our state besides the gross misconceptions of the uninformed.

I typically just use irons, but getting another RMR might not be a bad idea.

Now just slap an EOTech on there for ultra fast target acquisition and you’re good to go.

Thanks. MFT offers the paracord as an option now, but they don’t have rainbow.
 
And I can’t legally own a suppressor in Illinois, so I’d just build the gun without it until I leave.

Never would have thought of paracording the gap on a Minimalist stock like that, that’s a neat idea.

I’m currently living in northern Illinois and tell everyone I’m a machinist rather than a gunsmith, so Georgia almost feels like a paradise whenever I go.
 
Regardless, I’d like to stay off of politics due to the climate these days. This site is one place I can escape from it, and all I’m here to do share some of my artwork.

With the way the US is going with 2nd amendment rights. It’s at least nice to see some who appreciate firearms and sporting rifles. Though how is Georgia today with its respect to firearm ownership?

The main purpose of this gun was to piss off people at the range. And to learn how to actually build an AR. If I’m going to find a gunsmithing job in Georgia, I need to improve my skills.

Practicality is one of the last things I think of with my custom builds. I’ve built utilitarian and practical firearms for almost six years now, so I need to have fun with my own stuff.
 
Also, she shoots pretty well. I haven’t made it to the range yet, but the shop’s test fire tube gave me an idea on what to expect. The skeletal BCG, adjustable gas system, and 3lb trigger make it extremely fast.

That is one seriously trimmed down AR. As a prevailing utilitarian, the exposed bcg from your skeletal upper makes me want to scream but I can ire the adherence to your vision of speed and weightlessness.
 
How does she shoot?

Never did like the skeletal AR-15’s. I guessing a firearm for competition shooting?

It goes bangbangbangbangbang and that’s why I like it.
