Y’know, Jim Cummings almost got to voice the AoStH Robotnik, seeing as he voices him in it’s unaired pilot short.
I’m surprised OK Ko hasn’t made a parody or reference to the Pingas Meme and its scene from AOSTH as Boxmore is basically a parody of Robotnik/Dr.Eggman and is voiced by one of the many actors who has played Robotnik/Dr.Eggman

(For those who ask, the “Sonic Shorts” parody/fan-animation collaboration series is basically the Sonic fandom’s equivalent to our famed “Ponies the Anthology” series, and it’s just as hilarious. In fact, it’s actually older then the brony fandom.)

Baldry was also in the “Captain N: The Game Master” show. Interestingly, so were the voices of Coconuts (Ian James Corlett whom bronies may recognize as Clair “Sweetie Belle” Corlett’s IRL Dad) & Grounder. (Gary Chalk.)

I’d rather don’t try to lay no boogie woogie in the king of rock n’ roll.
For real: forget his MOR 1968-69 season and listen to It Ain’t Easy (produced by his pals Rod Stewart and Elton John in 1970), or Silent Treatment, with Baldry going full 80s.
Some of his 90s work is worth listening, too: It Still Ain’t Easy is lots of fun and contains a long interview with Baldry where he re the swinging sixties and his times with Alexis Korner and Steampacket, and ing Leadbelly brings back the classic blues singer with modern instrumentation. And has another interesting interview.
Ah, and another trivia bit: have you ever heard that nice Elton John song, Someone Saved My Life Tonight? That someone is Baldry.

Baldry did a splendid job. When I was a kid, I saw the Castilian Spanish version, but as an adult I discovered a hurricane of fun thanks to the pingas fad. Got interested I got (ahem d’loaded) all his records.
And then, between Baldry and my previous iration for Johnny Guitar Watson, I started listening to blues.

Y’know, Jim Cummings was originally going to be the AoStH Robotnik, as well. He even voiced him (and Scratch) in the unaired pilot short which can be found on Youtube. They used British Blues singer Long John Baldry instead, whom is probably more unique.
Jim was still great as the darker Robotnik though.
One of my favorites is, “I thought I was rid of you, you fish-fondling fruitcake!” (It sounds even more wrong without context. lol)
