The animation is frankly very stiff,it look like an odd blend Flash and traditional animation(which clash with the somehow detailed background) and the characterization of the heroines is bare bones,the writer dont do anything very innovative with the characters archetype they present (the tomboy pout her way through battles,the funny girl quips,they have a fluffy mascot/critter who look cute,the main girl have a crush on the local good-looking hearthtrob) By reflex, i made mental comparaison with the mane 6 but with the Mysticons girl,there’s something that doesnt quite click,a je ne sais quoi is lacking.In short,we have seen Mysticons dance over and over again.
