I think the last part with Shining and Cadence is more true to life than most people relize, thus why I find it humorous. It’s like everyone is led to believe that they’re this sweet, young, lovey-dovey couple, (like most celebrates) but behind closed doors they go through the same hardships and tribulations like everyone else.

Not every marriage and relationship is sunshine and rainbows, most marriages tend to wind up in either divorce or murder-suicide after a few years.
I appologize if I’m coming off as grimm, but those are actual statistics.
Still not really a fan of this, seems really mean-spirited against Shining that Cadance would apparently let slip some gossip to everyone which humiliates him so much. Also just find the intent weird, like, Cadance and Shining are a married couple who are meant to be really deeply in love…so they make a good choice to be shown as hurting each other?
1564385 is pretty much the same, except this one lacks a price listing and has the new version of the MLP logo… I’d imagine this version came from a reprint/redistribution or something, not sure if that counts as a duplicate.
This adds a note of sadness to Rockwell’s original: on that, the gossipy person was a random old lady. Here it’s Cadence who pissed off Shiny. What if this ends badly (just separation or divorce, you mean minded bastards)? What about little Flurry? :’((

It’s just a parody of this, I don’t think it’s meant to be taken that seriously.

I think the idea is that the story gets distorted along the way.
