Not only that, but as someone else pointed it out to me specifically, the position here is heavily reminiscent to that of Korra and Asami in the ending of Legend of Korra, as they were confirmed a couple.
Suffice to say, I know Hasbro probably can’t have them kiss on screen or tell each other “I love you” without getting more backlash than they’re willing to deal with at this point, but between all this, and all the blushing and meaningful looks shared in this episode…
…then at this point, if you’re still gonna claim they are just friends, you’re just in denial about the obvious fact that Hasbro is trying to present them as a couple as much as they can get away with without making it explicit.

The facial expressions and body language speak louder then any dialogue ever could. sadly most people ignore body language and don’t get the whole picture These two are just as canon as Twi & Timber at this point. But they aren’t Steven Universe sadly so will never have the freedom to openly say it vocally. Thus all the visual ques.
The shippers are bad. The “anti-shippers” are becoming worse. It’s to the point where I’d rather see “character x character forever!” than “Well actually, let me tell you why you are wrong and why your comment is a disease. After all, I NEED you to know to take this show seriously, especially when it’s about ships.”
AFter watching the episode, i can see that animation team wanted to “canonise” it as Korrasami. But form the narrative, it isn’t even as teased as discoshy, where a third party would point this out. And whole episode was more about frinedship crisis than romantic interest.

The blushing and the positions of their heads and arms do form quite a suggestive scene… that could easily be a coincidence. People also forget that hearts are strewn all over the series with no intended romantic connotations.
