We know it’s happening in 2021 with 2020 having a G5 Movie and G4 ending in 2019 and S9 is being story edit by Josh Haber. Emails confirmed that much.

In this metaphor the ‘school’ is hasbro so your scenario doesn’t fit. He doesn’t work for hasbro at all anymore, he works for DHX. While we do know that DHX has not received orders for more seasons after 9, what we don’t know is if Hasbro will end up placing such orders. Personally I have doubts they will as it’s not really bringing in the money it used to but ultimately it depends on whether they think G5 would actually reverse that trend rather than accelerating it. It remains an open question. DHX is already drawing up plans for G5, but they have no current knowledge of when G5 will actually begin.

Poor damage control. Keep in mind that his NDA prevent him from revealing stuff like end of G4. He backtracked on his words because he would lose his job. But reality stay the same.
Yeah. But again, it was a small segment of them that did it. Like you said, we in the MLP fandom get unfairly maligned thanks to the bad apples in our ranks too.

I know, it would be ironic to judge them even knowing how most of the people see the Brony fanbase, i only was refering those fandoms that i mentioned previously because they harassed the respective staff on their s for dumb reasons before

Season 3 was going to be the final one but they changed their minds. It isn’t over until it is, and really at this point I feel it has had a really good and long run.

People in general are nice. But the bigger the fandom the bigger the horrible section will be. For example say just 1% of fans are nasty, if you have a million fans that’s a lot of nasty people! Aslo it really only takes a handful of bad eggs to make a stink.
The garbage segment in each fandom doesn’t get to define the entire group. Most MLP/Steven Universe/Pokemon/even Sonic fans aren’t terrible. We just focus on the loud awful ones and ignore the quiet majority.
I’m afraid that people would start to harass the show staff for not getting rid of starlight
