You don’t even have to have noticed that Rookbutt has literally been taking notes on how the classes are run almost every time we’ve seen her to figure it out; anyone who’s seen Marks For Effort already knows she’s up to no good. Chancellor Wormtongue knowing the curriculum was taken directly from Twilight’s book before Flam & Flammer itted it gives away that she’s been working undercover for him to get dirt on the Friendship School all this time.
I think we’ll find out at the end of the season that she’s a freaky Babydoll type who’s actually a full grown mare, just tiny.
Just to be a contrarian, I’m going to go ahead and guess that she’s not actually a villain. She’s going to turn out to have been misled or forced into helping Tirek and/or the chancellor.

Before then, the E25-6 synopses were revealed, to the predictable responses of their falsehoods, only to later be corroborated by the leaks. This was maybe a few weeks after the Season 7 Finale.
I meant that “we” as a fandom would have been spoiled by that ComicCon video. And unfortunately I imagine some that were avoiding spoilers did see that video. It was a bit careless of them to include those clips in the video.

The leaks were in December 2017 and the official synopses for all season 8 episodes were one of the things leaked.
The E26 synopsis preceded the January leaks… Or was it February? I guess I didn’t because I don’t care, lol.
To put it simply: time will give us the answer, which will be revealed in only a couple of months.
