One thing I’m noticing now, and I’m not sure how long it’s been going on: it seems like there are enough background pony designs on file for every member of a medium-sized crowd to have a unique model, unlike the old days where you’d have six or seven models copied over and over to fill in the background of a shot.
“Fall Weather Friends” where two grandstands were filled to the brim with only three ponies?
But the more fun is it to go look for clones if there are so many individual ponies. Let’s see…
The only two ponies of whom there is one on each grandstand are Cloverbelle and Cocoa Caliente, one on each grandstand. Lemon Hearts and Twinkleshine can be seen two grandstands. (All four happen to wear the same hairstyle, by the way.)
Also, Ruby Pinch, Aura and Tornado Bolt are present twice.
Lightning Bolt is the only pony sitting on the same grandstand twice. She is also the third pony with three instances.
And as far as I can see, Green Gem is the only cloned stallion.
Come to think of it, this could have been avoided. All these clones could have been other ponies, even more well-known ones, and even without ponies from Manehattan or Las Pegasus. Where are Lyra and Bon Bon? Where’s Minuette? Berry Punch? Seafoam?! Daisy is there, Rose is there (sitting next to the Doctor, we’ve at least got three pairs of “ponies sitting next to each other” here), but where’s Lily? Where’s Cloud Kicker or Parasol? Where are the other local stallions such as Lucky, Caramel or Coco Crusoe?
Even the Backup Six aren’t complete, where are Auburn Vision and Citrine Spark?
