Exactly! Even if Rainbow is technically her guardian, she would never do this! I don’t even think RAINBOW’S parents did this to HER!
She’d just give Scoots a firm talking to. Not paddle her. Like she did in The Washouts getting Spitfire to yell at her to make sure she doesn’t copy Dusty.

Who else would you pick to spank her? This was created before the episode with Scootaloo’s parents, after all so its not like she has anyone closer to her for it besides maybe Applebloom and Sweetie Belle.

I respectfully submit that whether or not something is funny is subjective.  
I agree that if Rainbow Dash actually did this within the show’s continuity, it would be wildly out of character. I would guess that most Scootabuse material made after ‘Sleepless In Ponyville’ is not designed to be aligned with show canon. My comment certainly was not.

She was born. Being a Wonderbolt is super stressful, and involves taking a lot of orders and being worked to exhaustion by Spitfire. Abusing Scootaloo is a way for Rainbow Dash to unwind and regain feelings of strength and power. After leaving Scootaloo’s fowl ass redder than Tirek, Rainbow Dash explained to Scootaloo that she should be thrilled, as even though she will never be a Wonderbolt on of being a worse flyer than Boulder, she is still helping a real pegasus be the best of the best!

So are people still thinking of Rainbow Dash as an abusive guardian to Scootaloo?
 
Literally the worst thing she did was have her get yelled at by Spitfire. And she kinda needed it.

Many are giving me downvotes on this. Not surprising. I spent wayyy to long figuring out movement/motion in this. The rest kinda suffered for it lol. I’ll do better next time. Was fun tho :)
