You know what I just realized, wallflowers resentment to sunset shimmer  
is just like most of the fandoms hatred of her for example:

Thinking she was forgiven too easily and is just pretending to be nice  
but is actually the same old bully - sunsets haters
 
Believing she’s still a so called “meanie” whenever she gets pissed off  
even though she has a good valid reason to be mad at someone or something - sunsets haters

Keep in mind that I didn’t say that the memories being forced from her mind was funny. It’s the fact that she’s actually trying to grab them as they are leaving that’s funny. Makes me wonder what would have happened if she actually grabbed it…

It is a little funny, and the little hoovesies thing she was doing right after was cuter than it probably should have been. Granted, I say that because I knew right away that she’d be getting all of her memories back in a few minutes (pattern recognition and all that), so that probably undermined the drama seriousness of the scene a bit.
