Cloudchaser? I mean not awfully thus far (she’s new) but the water tests I did upon receiving Cadance in 2016 and CC recently showed that CC was MUCH more prone to shedding paint in water, with the tail colors sloughing off alarmingly completely (versus a shedding but still not complete for Cadance) and the body color even coming off rapidly (in Cadance this took longer) - being super careful with CC so she looks decent, but every fold every deflation always pulls off some more paint and there are already white lines on the fold lines after like four months; took Cadance a year to get that bad. Cadance looks like a war zone in any area with pressure or folding after two years and really wanting to keep CC looking better. Might do some UV curing. Dash, my newest one, ironically has body paint that sloughs off pretty easily in water but the mane and tail are 100% waterproof apparently.

Horribly, lmao. Structurally, decently, currently no leaks after the usual seam issues, but the paint is pretty bad. Mainly the tail color, but the body color also washes off pretty easily. Her paint (2016) is worse than Luna (2017) but honestly better than Cloudchaser (2018) is holding up paint-wise. Certain colors seemed to be especially awful back about that time.

Believe it or not, the one I have has never had even a single issue, even after extensive shower tests. Paint is extremely well done, but this is on a 2015 pone with thick rubbery vinyl, AND this Flutters was a replacement for one they sent that DID have paint problems. Not the usual fluid-like flow in water, but it peeled off rather eagerly in small dry flakes. Never since this Flutters (except with Zecora) have I gotten one without ANY paint problems lol.
I would love to get a newer one; she’s the oldest I have and the vinyl is harder to work with than the newer ones hah. Also Hongyi’s manes have gotten so much better since then
I’m also very much interested in this server potential. If you do happen to make a server I’d love to have an invite.
Your inflates art is wonderful; dooo eeet
Server potential is intriguing. Make sure to gimme an invite if it comes to fruition
Well I might be interested

Are u starting a Discord server?
Why does Hongyi make ppl pay so much for these yet the paint quality is so
shoddy?

How bad does it look?

How has your Cadence held up?

Is the paint an issue with her?
