It is indeed a show, from the early 90’s. Samurai Pizza Cats, a redub of the anime Kyatto Ninden Teyandee. They are functionally different shows, as the redub used an entirely different script from the anime. In both, however, the main characters work in a pizzeria called Pizza Cats.

And the English dub is full of hilarious improv which was the end result of not being given the script to the series in order to translate it.
Because it’s awesome.
Though the Japanese orginal is slightly better.
