The motorcycle, games (with controller), drawing art and playing guitar are all hobbies that make sense as things she’d have gotten into as a human because they’re all things that she may have done to practice getting used to a human body and hands (ing that Twilight still used her mouth to write with in the 2nd movie, so it does take practice), and found that she enjoyed doing.

Now I see the similarities between that and diamond tiara & sliver spoon exploiting scootaloo’s weakness, just to get ahead of the CMC (i would be shocked if this happens in EqG too).
True… Then again it’s pretty much outright stated that Sunset was essentially avoiding getting heavily involved in the conflict (not made much better by how her new friends quickly default to Princess Twilight). So that’s probably also part of it.
Honestly the part that always bugged me about the guitar thing is that she reveals her talent for it at the END of Rainbow Rocks. Sure would have been useful at any point during the movie about a battle of the bands.

I understand, but it feels like they’re kinda overdoing it with her. I mean, if other characters are good at half the things she does, they get bashed for it. Sunset seems to be the only character who gets away with it.
Mind you, I don’t really want people bashing her either… That’d be annoying, but I kinda wish she was just a li’l more down to earth like the other characters. At least, here she doesn’t seem perfect at games though.
Sunset can play guitar, sing, do science experiments, drive a motorcycle, and such, and is now apparently a gamer. Is there anything she isn’t in to, or good at?
