Big heavy mulch bags? Uh, you need the dry ones, and don’t use cedar and especially the stuff with pre-emergent like Preen.
If you really are serious, get some straw instead and hope somepony doesn’t think you’ve made a yard-sizes snack bowl. Also, don’t get sod from the big stores with the aprons unless you really know the staff. The stuff they sell is usually more baked than a Greatful Dead concert.
Roseluck just runs a small garden shop in town, she can’t compete with big stores and employees in aprons. She probably also doesn’t sell sod. I love seeing her love of gardening though show.
