Dosen’t he usually fall off of ladders and stuff because of Twilight’s constant meltdowns and freak outs? Up until this episode, when things went bad for him, it was usually her fault.
@Beau Skunky
It’s also him thinking, “Wow, I’m a noble dragon now! I’m going to help Applejack so much, she’s going to love it!” constantly instead of concentrating doing the task at hand.
I think the thing is, when Spike tries to hard, like he was with Applejack he tends to screw things up. When he does things calmly he does a better job.
If you look at previous episodes even when he’s helping Twilight, half the time he’s falling off ladders, or getting burried in books, and such. So it’s not like his “clumbsyness” came out of nowhere.
Weaver wasn’t too pleased about that episode from what I gathered.
It was like they were intentionally making Spike a goof up at everything. Even Cooking, Until that episode, Spike was view as a great cook, EVEN under pressure…what happened

He kept his fanon out of his viewing.
Well, he’s learning at least.
