I actually heard a theory that The Pony of Shadows might have been responsible for Sombra’s corruption, considering the parallels between their powers and the circumstances surrounding them, so I find this neat~ :3
I’m going out on a limb here and headcannoning that the Pony of Shadows works like an angel from Supernatural, or rather, Luci-goosey himself. He’s a very powerful being, yes, but needs a vessel to exert his power properly, and only his true vessel can channel all of his edgy shadow might. Sombra is the perfect candidate, because of his… charming personality.
