If I had to choose a ship based on chemistry and interaction in the show alone, putting aside my total bias for Gallstream I’d have to choose Smolder and Ocellus. They’ve interacted quite frequently and always with a lot of meaning. Their scene during the Tree of Harmony’s test alone showed a deep connection.
