I love this arc! Fantastic story, stunning artwork, and chaos like I’ve never seen before! I’m kind of upset that they haven’t let Andy Price write a story until now!
That being said, I hope Cosmos doesn’t retain this hodge-podge form. I know draconequines are supposed to look… mixed up, but this is just a little too much. She looked fine in her ‘original’ form.

It doesnt matter. Comics can’t retcon the show because they aren’t canon. They may as well bring refomred Sombra again and pretend that S9 Premiere didn’t exist. Thats the same level of writing as in this comic, since it ignores past episodes regarding Discord.

True, that’s true, and I think that for example Cosmos’ appearance is good and even her menance, though the whole ‘the villain is just a crazy jealous girlfriend’ is not a trope I like. I’m just really sick of mind control and in particular I don’t like when people like Sugar Belle and Shining get their relationship partners screwed with but then don’t get to interact with them at all either. Just depresses me.
I lump them together personally, it has the same effect to me.

Still not how or what “canon” means and this story is using those episodes as it’s backstory so you’re still wrong on both s.
Assuming that the alicorns, Big Mac and Zecora need to return by the end of the comic I don’t think she’ll stay like that. XD
