In “Griffon the Brush Off” when Gilda was being mean Pinkie quoted “Nopony does that the Fluttershy! Nopony! Time for me to take care of this PINKIE PIE STYLE!” And when the show came back from commercial we all thought Pinkie Pie was about to go nuts on Gilda, but in reality she threw a party as to attempt to change her attitude/make her feel better and welcome.

Ah. That explains why I didn’t see her name when going through the list. I was going through each one by name in alphabetical order when ing the individual OCs.

Please enlighten us as to what on earth you think the tag actually means, because all of its current uses seem pretty random.

Yeah, there’s really not much that you said that defines what the tag means.
There’s nothing in this image which looks like it deserves the “pinkie pie style” tag, and there’s nothing at that link which adds clarification.
