Is just the same Sunset Shimmer we know throughout the entire Equestria Girls series, so that means she made a small visit to her old home dimension. I wonder how she got here or know anything about the anniversary of Ponyville.

Issue 71 had Sunset cameo during Nightmare Night, implying she visits on a semi-regular basis, or at least special occasions. That or Twilight’s telling everyone about Sunset’s adventures so they know enough to recognize her.
 
Or maybe Sunset WAS from Ponyville originally…

And as I rank up they fear me more and more. I am a victim of my own ELO. "Pro Gamer". I don't even get a real nick. Only a purpose. I am capable of so much more and no one sees it.
