Considering how practically every pony in the show before season 3 wasn’t shy at all about covering their plots, I’d say it was but got phased out after a bit.

I beleive it works like the crop. The crop is used for striking the animal for command, its seems visually brutal but the animals its made for hardly feel it, kinda like a irritant because if their thick skin and coat, unlike humans where repeated use on human flesh would cause bruises and damage. SUCH Delicate creatures humans are. XD

gingering is a they used to do to horses when selling them to make them more presentable. They too some ginger root, cut into a plug shape and placed in the horses ass. This would make the horse uncomfortable due to the stinging of the ginger and cause them to raise and arc their tail more. I don’t think it actually hurt them, but I don’t know
Do they also insert figs into your firmament?
Some things are better left unknown, or at least I think so.
More importantly than what it is or what it’s for, who the hell was the first person to try this?
“I need this horse to look better.
I wonder what kinds of things I could stick in it’s ass.”
Wow, that’s actually pretty gross. I guess it works though.

How did you guess?
Depends on how thick the ginger slice was, I guess.
I meant more like, actually cause damage. Not just cause discomfort.
Well, if ginger stings inside their ass, I’d imagine it would hurt them.
But I’m not about to try it and find out.
