I can somewhat tolerate a 27C day, but not much more. I just hope we don’t have any long stretches of 40C+ this summer, or for that matter a significant amount of the country burning down.
Different people have different temperature tolerances. It doesn’t matter if one person’s summer is 80 degrees and another person’s is 100 degrees. It’s not a contest.
If I have to spend time in 100 degree weather, it’s not going to make me like 80 degree weather any more. It’s still miserable either way. One is just more miserable than the other.

In the UK myself, currently in the south west area. It was around 29-30 that day, had both the window wide open and the fan on and it wasn’t doing anything to cool me off.

As long as a heavy coat creature has cold water to drink they should be fine in hot weather; it’s insulation, all it does is limit heat transfer. Smolder I assume does what I’ve always pictured Spike doing, which is occasionally just walking into the fireplace and sitting on a log for a while.
This is me. Almost. I thrive in temperatures below 15°C (my comfort zone is somewhere between -15°C and 5°C). Every degree above that makes me progressively more uncomfortable. Doesn’t matter how humid or dry it is.
We hit 31°C yesterday and the forecast says we’ll hit it again today and tomorrow and Saturday and who knows how many days after that. Guess I’ll die.
Actually, the ones I’m curious about are Yona and Smolder. Yona must be miserable in the Equestrian summertime wearing that heavy hair coat of hers, and while Smolder can keep herself warm in winter, it’s still gotta be uncomfortable for someone used to swimming in lava.
Here too - i mean, it doesn’t usually get like that, but last summer often had temperatures running on almost 40 °C, and on normal times, the maximum temperatures during the day are around 25 to 27 °C,

I would die if I had to stay at 76 in my own home. My house is set to 68 at the highest, and if it gets colder naturally then I’ll let it stay lower.

we keep the indoor temp at 76.
hot is.. mid-high 80s. melt you is 90’s with humidity.
.. which is what is was most of last week- its a wet oven and your freaking melting in minutes.
Indeed. Celsius is pretty much the worldwide standard. Fahrenheit is generally mostly used in the U.S.
