It was not a game for fighting-lovers it was a game for MLP-fans most of them don’t play fightings and don’t bother about having 2 dozens of characters. Anyway they promised plot-based singeplayer and 7th character if they reach enogh money on Kickstarter. OK 7th char. is here no question (because it was good at least visually). Still only Arizona’s story. Will they have huge sale for new chars? There were only hundreds of active PvP players. And a lot of them Oleanders and Arizonas as the easiest to control. I don’t expect more than several thousands sales for every new character. May be even not enough to cover their disign cost. Then they’ll have a hard talk with the publisher which looked at TFH as another fighting game.
@Dogman15
Adding to that, if the characters are added FIRST, they can be integrated into the story seamlessly.
IE: Texas is canonically fought by Arizona as one of the first fights, so if he’s actually in the game, then the player can actually do the fight instead of the game saying “So Arizona beat Texas”.
@Beltar
I’m guessing after the Season 1 , which will be complete when the character after Nidra is released. Modus really wanted Mane6 to make more characters, because those can be monetized and sold for DLC. And there were lots of people complaining that the game didn’t have enough playable fighters.
Nah, it’s got a lot more QoL stuff than modern AAA fighters.

You just haven’t been looking in the right places.
Edited because: Rule #7
She’s PERFECT!
I always wanted a Baku present in TFH, but having her as a possible Luna proxy is a perfect expansion to her.
