@Chopsticks
eh, you’re probably right. I never experienced the internet during those times. I only looked at internet archives, old posts and old videos. I was never actually there so I probably haven’t seen the full picture. Then again, I’m only 20 years old so I’m probably younger than most in the pony fanbase at this point :P
These “2000’s/early 2010’s” nostalgia posts aren’t accurate and are very over the top. Go through the internet archives or even old posts. It was never this over the top.
@Kyrii
Some things have improved– the Ocean Cleanup Project filtering plastics out of the ocean and rivers is good tech innovation, for example. I agree though, a lot changed shortly after Y2K.
For some reason, ’90s Windows and G4 ponies go together really well for me, I may be biased from nostalgia. There needs to be pony point-and-click games like Humongous Entertainment.
Thank you for all the nice words! I didn’t expect that my work would ever become a featured image. But I’m very happy that it happened. And to be honest, it even brought me to tears. My art may not get as much attention as others’, but I’m very glad that I was noticed and praised too.
Huh, I guess now I should draw something else on the Frutiger Aero theme.
Otherwise: nostalgic.

You’re right, there weren’t any ponies.

I always a point and click would fit the whimsical world of FIM.

Awesome art. A lot of talent to even put those special effects.
