Makes more sense to present the front of your body instead of the side, if you do get hit a bullet would impact one organ instead of traversing through more than one.
He can’t own a handgun because he lives outside of the US. In the range he usually borrows an old 1911, Beretta and some S&W .38 revolver, shoots at 25 meters with reasonable accuracy.
Usually civilians, or even army veterans in his country never have experience with pistols at all, but he used to be a competition pistol shooter before going to the army so he re how to shoot.
@wrabbit
Yeah, I can see how it would help accuracy, but you have to use the isocelese (hope I spelled that right) rather than weaver stance(what I use). Its just to easy to get knocked down in isocelese, in weaver however if someone gets too close to me I can make ’em shit teeth.

I’ve been on /k/ before But I don’t get on anymore. What kind of .45 does your dad use. Mine’s a Ruger sr1911. I love shooting 22lr but its so hard to get a hold of nowadays…
Sight picture is not obscured thanks to the raised optics.
Rail is most likely free floating so there would be little thermal conduction.
Reason for using that grip is to reduce swiveling of the barrel end while transitioning between targets. The downside is that more of the body, especially the left arm and shoulder will be exposed from the front.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone fire a rifle while positioning their off hand like that. Seems like it would interfere with sighting, not to mention a good way to get burned when the barrel heats up.
And never forget: trigger discipline / no trigger discipline.
Guns that are firing or have been fired before do not apply, so use these with discretion.
Are you also from /k/? I used to have a .22LR target rifle for competitions and stuff, and my dad is a good shot with anything between .22 to .45, both revolvers and semi autos.
That’s some great detail work, but I dislike that Rarity is using a PMAG. I broke one once. They aren’t nearly as tough as Magpul wants you to believe.

That sucks. Well 25 yds with a pistol is about as far as I ever shoot.

I guess I’m just used to seeing under the barrel grips. That looks really counter-intuitive; like holding a pistol “gangsta style”. :P

BaneSwgThere are also tags for: Aimpoint, Eotech, Magpul, Trijicon, AN/PEQ-2, AN/PEQ-15, Reflex Sight, Holographic Sight, Silencer, Drum Magazine.
These tag wouldn’t exist without vombavr and buckweiser, so basically they’re my tribute to them.
“This tag refers to the individual notches…”
Really?!? Glad you cleared that up!!! Lol, I’m just fuckin with you, besides, rail covers are for pansies with soft hands.
The tag is for pics that emphasize the individual notches of the rail as a central design feature. No airsoft or ar-15s with rail covers, please.
