Its probably more so the unkempt style of her hair, which has larger ‘openings’ between some strands, rather than a full, flowing mane. Its probably not “holes” in her hair, like in her legs.

Personally, though the colors, details, etc. are beautiful (as should be any pic of her), there is ONE thing I can’t help but notice in this pic. So many of her features are ‘rounded’ or ‘smoothed’. This can be very lovely (as seen here), but it also sort of takes away from the ‘jagged’ features that she otherwise has, that personally I’ve come to really love on her, in contrast to the more ‘rounded’ features of, say, the standard pony forms.
