Well, in the Season 5 finale, we did see a similar scenario play out. Only difference is that Celestia was the one banished to the moon as the moon not only had the Mare in the Moon craters, but Celestia’s multicolored mane as well.
@SuperSonic15
I guess you’re making up an alternate timeline of what if 1,000 years ago, Nightmare Moon did fatally killed Princess Celestia, overthrown her, and rules/conquered Equestria for enternal night. And how wil the events of the show go in this timeline?
When Twilight feared that Nightmare Moon had just murdered her own big sister, I almost felt that this was really happening.
Luckily I ed that if Celestia was killed 1000 years prior to the start of the series, it would’ve caused a time paradox. Equestria would’ve plunged into Anarchy without Celestia to maintain peace for a millennium, and Twilight would’ve never become an Alicorn without her.

I’d just had another idea…
Let’s see if this works…?
Very sweet combination. :)

Yeah, this is always good when done well.
It’s always good to see a light-hearted cartoon take a serious and emotional turn.
Funny, if this were anything other than MLP, I think I’d been a bit pissed.
The emotional drama?
